Just days away from the highly-anticipated release of their third-album angel in realtime., Gang Of Youths has announced the highly-anticipated return of A More Perfect Union: a festival experience curated by the band, featuring some of Australia and the world’s most exciting artists, presented by triple j.
After first being conceived back in 2018 when the band sold out Brisbane’s Riverstage in under 30 minutes with a line-up featuring Jack River, Thelma Plum, Luca Brasi and Charlie Collins, the revival of the event will see the carefully-crafted festival heading to Hobart and the Sandstone Point, boasting two completely unique line-ups in some of the country’s most stunning outdoor venues.

The Hobart (TAS) instalment of A More Perfect Union 2022 will take place at the Regatta Grounds on Sunday 14th August. Gang Of Youths will be joined by none other than Arlo Parks, Cub Sport, Gretta Ray, Adam Newling and The Lazy Eyes.
The next weekend, the Sandstone Point (QLD) instalment of A More Perfect Union 2022 will take place at Sandstone Point Hotel on Saturday 20th August where Gang Of Youths will be joined by Matt Corby, Middle Kids, Budjerah, BLESSED, Becca Hatch and Romero.
On top of the hand-selected line-up, the festival will feature gourmet food trucks, boutique beer, wine and other untold wonders. VIP tickets will grant fans access to exclusive bar spaces, with additional shade, seating and stage views.

The A More Perfect Union shows will follow Gang of Youths’ return to Australia in late July, when they’ll kick off their first local headline tour in over three years. Coming to major arenas in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, the shows will come in support of the band’s forthcoming third studio album, Angel in Realtime, which is set to arrive this Friday, 25th February.
Gang Of Youths has partnered with PLUS1 to support the Aboriginal Legal Service who provide culturally safe legal services for Aboriginal people in NSW and the ACT. $1 from every A More Perfect Union ticket sold will support the Aboriginal Legal Service in their fight for justice for Aboriginal communities. www.alsnwact.org.au
