Words by staff writer

KFC has teamed up with Aussie Producer Luude to Open Secret Nightclub and Launch New Menu Item

In a move that could only be described as “luude-icrous,” KFC is stepping onto the dancefloor with an unexpected twist. The iconic fast-food chain is partnering with ARIA-winning producer Luude to open a one-night-only secret nightclub in Sydney, dubbed the Fried Side Club, and they’ve whipped up a mouthwatering new menu item to boot: Luude’s Zinger® Sliders.

Keep up with the latest in local news and entertainment here.

For those craving a night out and a delicious KFC feed, this is your golden opportunity. The Fried Side Club will pop up for just one night on Saturday, 21st October 2023, at a top-secret location in central Sydney. And guess what? The nightclub’s dancefloor will be grooving to the tunes of Aussie producer sensation Luude, with support acts Kinder and Foura. But that’s not all; to keep the partygoers going, the Fried Side Club will be serving up Luude’s Zinger® Sliders all night long, and yes, they’re FREE for everyone at the club.

Luude’s Zinger® Sliders come in pairs, each featuring half a Zinger Fillet and lettuce, with one packed with Chilli Relish and the other with Supercharged Sauce. These delectable sliders are not only certifiably fire, but they’re also designed to be enjoyed with one hand, leaving your other hand free for some epic fist-pumping on the dancefloor. Picture yourself belting out “can’t you hear, can’t you hear that thunder” while sinking your teeth into Kentucky Fried Chicken – paradise, right?

But what if you’re not in the mood for a night of dancing but still want to indulge in this delectable treat? Fret not; Luude’s Zinger® Sliders will be available from the Secret Menu via the KFC App starting today until October 30th. And if you’re wondering how to access the Secret Menu, simply download the KFC App, pull down the menu page, and hold it for a quick 11 seconds to unveil a world of mouthwatering surprises.

Luude, fresh off his latest hit, “TMO (Turn Me On),” made waves in 2021 with his remix of the iconic Men at Work anthem, “Down Under,” landing at #65 in the 2021 Hottest 100. He’s set to serve up a setlist packed with more heat than Supercharged Sauce for club attendees. As for the location, well, that’s a secret for now. Ticket holders will need to locate the new central Sydney KFC “restaurant” and enter through the secret (fridge) door to access the Fried Side Club.

The Fried Side Club will open its doors from 8 pm to 3 am on Saturday, 21st October. The address will be revealed to ticket holders just 48 hours before the event. Tickets are available via Moshtix starting today and they’re expected to sell out fast, so KFC lovers and club enthusiasts alike better hurry, because just like KFC’s famous fried chicken, once they’re gone, they’re gone.

And for die-hard KFC and Luude fans eager for some exclusive merch, there will be tasty KFC x Luude t-shirts and KFC sliders (the ones for your feet) available inside the Fried Side Club. All proceeds from merch and ticket sales will go towards the KFC Youth Foundation and its charity partners: Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.

If you miss out on club tickets, you can still snag some groovy new KFC x Luude gear at the KFC Merch Store
