Alongside the shows, La Femme is set to captivate audiences once again with the re-issue of their debut EP, ‘La Femme Ressort,’ hitting digital platforms on January 19. The iconic EP, originally released in 2011, will feature revamped versions of four classic tracks, including the freshly released ‘Sur La Planche 2023.’

The brainchild of founding members Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got, ‘Sur La Planche’ became an instant hit for the band and has now been expertly reworked, highlighting the timeless brilliance of the song while preserving its original production elements. The EP will also include updated versions of ‘Télégraphe,’ ‘La Femme Ressort,’ and ‘Françoise.’

Despite not making it onto their debut album, ‘Psycho Tropical Berlin,’ due to a lost recording, ‘Télégraphe’ has evolved into one of their all-time live anthems. Fans can rejoice as the track is set to hit streaming platforms in 2024. Both ‘La Femme Ressort’ and ‘Françoise,’ featured on the original EP, have been reworked and remixed for the 2024 re-issue, with ‘Françoise’ being described by the band as a “synthetic rain darted with subtle saturations.”

Originally released in 2011, the vinyl edition of the EP has become a sought-after gem in La Femme’s discography, reaching staggering prices of up to 600€ ($981) among collectors. The 2024 release promises to shed new light and sound on La Femme’s early works without compromising the essence of the original productions, making it accessible to a new generation of fans.

Led by Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got for over a decade, La Femme has carved a unique path, drawing inspiration from genres as diverse as new wave, rock, electro, and punk. With numerous gold records, Victoires de la Musique awards, and over 600 shows under their belt, including supporting the Red Hot Chili Peppers on their 2016 European Tour, La Femme continues to push boundaries.

In 2023, they dropped the first two albums from their Collection Odyssey: ‘Teatro Lucido,’ featuring the hit single ‘Sacatela,’ and ‘Paris-Hawaii,’ composed of enchanting Hawaiian love songs. Currently concluding a widely successful tour across 30 countries, including the US, Canada, LATAM, and Europe, La Femme shows no signs of slowing down. Brace yourselves for new music slated for the second half of 2024.
