Geelong’s vibrant community is gearing up for an event that promises to be a summer toast to remember. The inaugural Flock to the Fields Festival is set to take the regional city by storm, bringing together the finest drops from the region’s wineries, craft breweries, and gin distilleries.
Taking place on Saturday, 16 December, The Geelong Racecourse will be transformed into a hub of flavours and sounds. With an exciting lineup boasting 14 local wineries, eight craft breweries, and six distilleries, attendees are in for a real treat with the first festival of its kind in the area.

From the velvety reds to crisp whites, hoppy brews to botanical-infused gins, this brand-new festival will take you on a journey through the finest libations that the region has to offer. With bars and tasting stations aplenty, it’s a day of exploration and indulgence. Expect to find the likes of 6Ft6, Anther Spirits, Bellarine Distillery, Captain Brewing, Scotchmans Hill, Valhalla, Mazzini Wines, Blackman’s Brewery, and Great ocean Rd. Gin, plus heaps more.
And it’s not just about drinks; the festival invites you to elevate your tasting experience with a tempting array of food trucks. Whether you’re in the mood for gourmet delights or a perfect picnic, there’s a wide cheese selection and multiple food options to ensure every bite complements your sips.
As the sun sets, multiple stages will come to life with incredible live and local music acts and nine DJs who will be spinning tunes throughout the night! From Majak Door to Savage Honey, Jothi to Rach Brennan, Chook & Moluck to Jack Harman, Ryan Bell to Daffaduck, the festival’s musical lineup guarantees a foot-tapping, hip-swaying good time. And there are more surprises to be announced!
There is an official after party at The Geelong Hotel, for anyone interested in keeping the party going which is FREE for all Flock To The Fields ticket holders. You can expect drinks flowing, delicious bites, and a killer soundtrack featuring the awesome DJ/saxophone skills of Daffaduck & friends.
