Five of the cosiest glamping stays in country Vic to get you out and about this winter

Words by Paddy Coppinger

Taking the discomfort out of camping, but bringing nature to your doorstep

We’re back for lockdown number four. We’ve been here before, and it’s all too familiar. But while it’s essential we stay couped up for the time being, making sure we and our loved ones all get out of this one safely, this lockdown can serve as yet another reminder not to take our time out in the open for granted.

Yes, John Snow, winter is coming. It’s bloody cold out there. But getting outside when it’s safe to do so, out in the country, is the perfect opportunity to get that R&R that you so desperately need, and support some of those local businesses doing it especially tough.

So don’t let those cold winds stop you from getting outside in nature this year because we have just whipped up the perfect glamping list for you and your closest people to experience country Victoria in the ideal mix of comfort and experience.

Put on your scarf, woolie gloves and beanie, cos we’re getting out there this winter.

You’ll get a near 360-degree view of the surrounding woodland in the bubble, which boasts a queen bed with high-quality linen, beanbags and tea and coffee facilities.

Outside you’ll be treated to a wooden deck with log fire, and if it couldn’t get any cosier, a pizza oven, BBQ, outdoor shower and kitchen facilities will keep you occupied for your entire stay. Plus you can work on all those lockdown cooking skills you have, right?
