After a slew of applications from some of the most talented songwriters and performers in the country, the finalists for this year’s Melbourne Music Bank have been revealed.
Boasting a killer selection of local talent from hip hop to soul and back again, Melbourne Music Bank is hosting some serious competition for the top prize.
Finalists for this year’s competition are: Sal Wonder (Brunswick), Anna Oliphant Wright (Lake Gardens), Ayoob Meeragani (Fawkner), B Cardamone (Richmond), Batz (Collingwood), Birdhouse (Caulfield), BLOOM (McRae), HeavyHeads (Balaclava), James Franklin (Dandenong), Sienna Wild (South Melbourne), Tempus Sun (Moonee Ponds) and Zii Music (Fawkner).
The winning prize pack includes four days of recording at Melbourne’s The Studios In The City to record, mix and master an EP, plus two film clips, album artwork, printed CDs, styling, media training, and a photoshoot for the release.
The winner will also receive management and mentoring by Matt O’Connor, publicity courtesy of On The Map PR, radio plugging by Varrasso PR and gig bookings by 123 Agency, as well as the opportunity to tour the east coast of Australia and perform at the renowned festival, Beyond The Valley.
