This new festival is an absolute FEAST of music, art, comedy, science, food, and more.

Add FEASTIVAL Falls Creek to your calendars, because this is another one of the exciting festivals scheduled in Victoria’s post-restriction celebrations.

Held in the pristine Alpine region Falls Creek, FEASTIVAL is a three-day, free event celebrating music, art, comedy, science, and food. Yes, free! There will be ticketed events throughout but the music part is absolutely free!

After the devastation of the 2020 bushfires and the ongoing challenges of COVID-19 restrictions, the community has teamed up to devise a festival to raise a toast to the next year of celebrations and freedom.

The key takeaways:

  • FEASTIVAL will take place over one weekend from Friday, February 18 to Sunday, February 20, 2022
  • The event is FREE, with a variety of ticketed events also on offer (including a comedy night, science talks, art exhibition and installations, yoga and pilates, and more!)
  • Located in and around the Falls Creek Village

Live music will be pumping from the Saturday afternoon, featuring a host of Australian artists; from the internationally renowned, to the locally grown, including pop-folk icons Boy & Bear.

Local talent such as The Northern Folk, Benny Williams, Miiesha, Didirri, Live Cartledge, and This Way North are also set to headline on the event’s main stage, showcasing the musical talent North-East Victoria has to offer.

The affable and engaging Dr. Karl will be presenting his fascinating talk Great Moments in Science, as well as a comedy session.
The musical line-up in Slalom Plaza will be supported by other fun events and activities at Falls Creek across the weekend, including a comedy night with MICF favourites Dave Thornton, Lloyd Langford, and more; a stargazing event with the Astronomical Society of Victory, workshops and performances from the Flying Fruit Fly Circus; plus an art exhibition, market, workshops, and kids activities run by the fun folks at The Connected Circus.
The Melbourne Chamber Orchestra sextet will also be performing, celebrating the intimate art of chamber music with exquisite selections from their repertoire, and will be paired with a sumptuous degustation menu at one of Falls Creek’s award-winning boutique venues.
Alongside all this, Mountain Bike shuttles will be operating for the entire weekend, giving you all-mountain access to Falls Creek’s world-class trails.

So add FEASTIVAL to your summer celebration line-up, and join your friends in singing, dancing, eating, drinking, laughing, learning, creating, and riding.
