Eureka is reviving its iconic bandroom with two incredibly huge acts this November.

Geelong’s beloved Eureka Hotel, a historic icon in the heart of the city, has thrown open its doors once again after extensive renovations and a facelift that is proving to reinvigorate the region’s live music scene.

Originally established in 1852 as a humble public bar catering to thirsty dockside traders, the Eureka Hotel has evolved over more than a century into a vital part of Geelong’s cultural fabric. During the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, this venue hosted legendary Australian music acts, cementing its status as a hub for musical innovation. The likes of Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, Screaming Jets, Dragon, Hunters & Collectors, and Tame Impala graced its stage, etching the Eureka Hotel’s name into the annals of Australian music history.

With a newly installed state-of-the-art d&b Audiotechnik P.A. system, cutting-edge lighting, and captivating visuals, the Eureka Hotel is poised to resurrect live music in the heart of Geelong.

And now, live music is back in full swing at the Eureka Hotel, with two incredible acts lined up for November.

First up, on November 3rd, the Eureka Bandroom will host British India, an indie rock band hailing from Melbourne. Known for their explosive live performances and pop-infused rock hits like “I Said I’m Sorry,” British India has garnered a devoted fan base.

With numerous accolades and a string of successful albums, this band is sure to bring the house down with their high-energy show.

The following week, Sneaky Sound System, the iconic electronic music duo, is set to hit the stage at the Eureka Bandroom on November 10th.

Known for their chart-topping hits like “UFO,” “Pictures,” and “I Love It,” Sneaky Sound System has won ARIA Awards and gained widespread acclaim for their infectious dance music. With an illustrious career spanning nearly two decades, Sneaky Sound System promises a night of electrifying beats and unforgettable melodies.

Drawing inspiration from iconic Melbourne venues such as The Espy and Garden State Hotel, the Eureka Hotel has undergone a remarkable transformation. The venue has been meticulously divided into five distinct spaces, making it one of Victoria’s largest and most unique pubs and live music venues. According to the management, the vision is to provide Geelong with something it’s been eagerly anticipating.

But the metamorphosis doesn’t stop there. Alongside its grand reopening, the Eureka Hotel has opened ‘Evie,’ a brand-new high-end clubbing experience.
