Who says espresso martinis need to remain a night beverage? Opposed to this thought, Warrnambool laneway bar Lucy are making a donut variety of the tasty drink.
From what we can tell, the donut featuring the branded ‘L’ of the bar on top, features a creamy coffee inside and icing on top. Apparently there is only a bar in Perth that does a similar style donut. Watch it for yourself via the video below.
Recently opening after renovations, the bar is already pushing the limits and thinking up exciting ideas for the new space.
The donuts were originally supplied for the opening night of the newly renovated space, and they will be supplied each weekend (with the cocktail inspired flavours varying). They were made by local baker Will Jane, you can find him via Instagram. Check ahead with the bar before making your trip solely for donuts (though you can always pick up a tasty espresso martini while you’re there).
