DUSA: the student association run by students, for students

The much beloved Deakin University Student Association, or DUSA as it’s fondly called, are your student association run by students, for students. Committed to helping students succeed at Deakin, they are also passionate about ensuring they create opportunities throughout the year for students to grow, succeed and have fun.
A big part of this, is their role in hosting the O’Week spectacular at Deakin University.
DUSA looks to create interactive and engaging events that cover a range of interests for first year students – ensuring that you start off your university degree with a bang. A major theme of DUSA’s O’Week is to create something all-inclusive, with multiple market days and a range of night events available to all students.
2018 O’Week runs from Monday 26 February through to Friday 2 March 2018 at both Waurn Ponds and Waterfront Campuses, as well as at Deakin in Warrnambool as well. With market days and free lunches, students can explore everything university life has to offer across both campuses during the week.
This year Geelong sees big crowd favourites like the Mystery Bus Tour, Amazing Race and the Jungle Party back again, along with a Double Denim Party and a Flip & Fly experience at Airodrome, while Warrnambool welcomes the fun reality Survivor challenge, DUSA Carnival and a Beach Party – along with so much more. Be sure to grab your tickets now as they are guaranteed to sell out quickly!
You can join DUSA with their membership program that will provide you with access to discounts, short courses, sporting teams, trips and tours and of course an awesome range of clubs and societies. Learn new skills and gain qualifications, or set off on an adventure across Victoria; there really is something for everyone at DUSA. All you have to do is sign up!
