Don your best robes, a massive Harry Potter trivia night is happening in Geelong this week

Wizards assemble. The winner goes home with a double pass to 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' Melbourne theatre show.

Wizards, Halfbloods and Muggles, gather around because the time has come to put your knowledge to the test.

The good folk at The Deck Geelong are going to the dark side and are hosting an epic Harry Potter themed trivia night this week.

Taking place on Thursday, November 24, this will be an epic night of movie-based trivia with multiple rounds, so that even the most novice of 1st years stand a chance to win the major prize. The winner of the night will go home with two tickets to the broadway production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, currently on show in Melbourne. Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany.

Originally a two-part event, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has now been reimagined as one singular performance and tells the eighth story in the Harry Potter canon and the first Harry Potter story to be presented on stage. The play holds a record 60 major honours, with nine Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Play and six Tony Awards including Best New Play and has been seen by millions of people worldwide.

The Deck trivia usually sees a 7pm kick off so head in early to fuel up before the big event.

Dress ups are encouraged to win extra prizes for a night you won’t want to obliviate.
