‘Dip Deep For Flood Relief’: Sphinx Hotel announce massive flood relief concert

Dig deep for flood relief on Sunday, May 1 2022 at the Sphinx Hotel in Geelong.

The devastation and carnage brought by the recent floods in Queensland and New South Wales has seen thousands of people’s homes and livelihoods destroyed. These people have been left without food, water, electricity, medical equipment and basic supplies and as the monstrous job of clean-up and rebuilding continues, it’s evident the people affected will need assistance (financial, emotional and mental) for months, if not years, to come.

With financial and physical support flooding from across the country to support the region, contributing to the fundraising efforts for the Northern Rivers area is the family-owned Sphinx Hotel in Geelong and The Dig Deep Committee with their event ‘Give Us A Hand – Dip Deep For Flood Relief Concert’.

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around the region here

Bringing together an impressive lineup of fantastic local performers, the event will feature performances from bands including Michael Stangel & Friends, Cool Change, Mr Meaner, Misschief, and Handsom Gargoyles, alongside solo performances from local acoustic royalty Cam Bryce, Luke Biscan, Danny Zambelis and Kenny Miller.

The fundraising event will also feature an auction, sausage sizzle, raffles and lucky balloons, with all funds going toward the ‘Rebuild Northern Rivers’ Foundation. All funds will be going directly to the people.

It all goes down at The Sphinx Hotel on Sunday, May 1. Find out more here.

Tickets are $25 and are available online here or at the door on the day.
