The AFL Grand Final Public Holiday is a pretty good excuse to party. Even if you’re not into the footy, it’s a public holiday so more than likely you have the day off (or you are earning some decent coin). Sunday Funday and Side-FX know the people love to party, and together present Deck Flex – the eight hour techno day party, right in the center of Geelong.
Long time Melbourne Revolver Upstairs resident DJ Spacey Space will be taking over the open-air deck at the Eureka Hotel, weaving his dance floor magic to kick off the silly season.
Having played over 1200 DJ sets with everyone from Claude Van Stroke to Squarepusher, Spacey Space has earned himself a myth-like status and ‘local legend’ nickname, remains at the top of his game with the promise of an insane two hour set.
The day party will also feature local favourites on the decks including Scotty D, Simplicity, Jewson, Nathan Fuller, Vinny G, Vickers, Ryan Muller, Moxon and Sammy Rennie.
And the best part is the partying doesn’t start until 3pm – perfect for a late arvo sesh!
