Dayseeker announces Australian & New Zealand tour for 2024

Words by Staff Writer

Dayseeker are primed to bring their hypnotic hard rock and metallic catharsis to vivid life across Australia next July.

The American genre-trailblazers, Dayseeker, have declared their triumphant return down under in July 2024. Joining them on this sonic journey are special guests Casey, Landon Tewers, and Inertia, promising an explosive series of performances that will resonate with fans of hard rock and metallic catharsis.

Having previously graced Australian stages in 2022 supporting Thornhill and again this year supporting Beartooth and Pierce The Veil, Dayseeker is set to make their debut headline Australian tour. Their hypnotic fusion of hard rock and immersive soundscapes, blending post-pop, experimental indie, alternative R&B, and beyond, has garnered them millions of streams, sold-out shows, and acclaim since their formation in 2012.

Hailing from Southern California, Dayseeker recently unveiled their fifth studio album, “Dark Sun,” in 2022. The album explores searingly intimate themes with an array of stylistic fluctuations, building upon their impressive discography, including “What It Means To Be Defeated” (2013), “Origin” (2015), “Dreaming Is Sinking // Waking Is Rising” (2017), and the 2019 opus “Sleeptalk.”

Joining Dayseeker on this musical odyssey are special guests Casey, the melodic hardcore rockers from South Wales, UK. Known for their experimental flair and emotionally raw lyrical content, Casey is set to release their new album, “How To Disappear,” in 2024, following the success of 2018’s “Where I Go When I Am Sleeping.”

Landon Tewers, the versatile musician and lead vocalist for The Plot In You, brings his solo work into the mix. With solo albums like “Dynamite” (2016) and “Withdrawls” (2019), Tewers embraces intimacy, pop subtleties, and heavier nods, adding a diverse layer to the tour.

Sydney’s own Inertia, flourishing on a foundation of soulful dark pop and explosive, driving riffs, completes this powerhouse lineup. With their refreshing blend of pop sensibilities and hard-hitting intensity, Inertia has already shared stages with prominent acts like Void Of Vision, making them a standout in the alternative scene.
