You might remember Criss as the charming Blaine Anderson from the TV sensation Glee or his riveting portrayal of spree killer Andrew Cunanan in Ryan Murphy’s acclaimed true crime series The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.

But Criss’s talents don’t stop there; he’s a Broadway dynamo. He stepped into Daniel Radcliffe’s shoes in How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, earning the Broadway.com award for favorite replacement as J. Pierrepont Finch. Then, in 2015, he took over the lead role in Hedwig and The Angry Inch. Not to mention his 2022 Broadway appearance alongside Laurence Fishburne and Sam Rockwell in David Mamet’s Tony Award-nominated play American Buffalo.

Music is also in his bones – his debut EP Human soared to the top of the Billboard Heatseekers chart, followed by Homework at No.7 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart. Last year, Criss unleashed his third EP, Masquerade, and his heartwarming Christmas album A Very Darren Crissmas, which turned into a massive US national tour.

In 2009, Criss created the hugely popular group StarKids while studying at the University of Michigan. The group shot to fame through the cult hit A Very Potter Musical.

The star last performed on our shores back in 2018.
