Daniel Champagne, a true maestro in the world of live music, is embarking on an Australian tour this summer, showcasing his latest album, “The Pursuit.” Hailing from the picturesque Bega Valley on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, Champagne’s musical journey began at the age of 5, inspired by his musically inclined father. By 12, he was composing songs, training classically in his teens, and hitting the stage wherever opportunities arose.

Turning professional at the age of 18, Champagne has spent the past 15 years independently releasing seven studio albums, captivating audiences worldwide with his dynamic live performances. His musical prowess has earned him accolades such as “the finest guitar player of this generation,” “a leading light in acoustic music,” and “a performer that must be seen to be believed.”

Described as a true virtuoso, Daniel Champagne’s upcoming tour promises an intimate live experience that should not be missed. The Open House, located at 50 Little Malop St, Geelong 3220, will host the captivating performance on Thursday, 25 January at 7:30 pm. Tickets are priced at $39 and can be purchased online.

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race will bring about altered traffic conditions and road closures in greater Geelong, the Bellarine, and Surf Coast regions, particularly on the weekend of Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 January. For those attending events at the Geelong Arts Centre on these dates, it is advised to plan ahead, allowing ample time for travel and parking.
