When singer songwriter Dane Overton hits the touring road at the beginning of next month, he will perform more than 15 shows before the month is out. Now that is the kind of hard touring we love and respect.
For the unfamiliar, Dane’s music is a mix of blues and roots, with just enough sweet guitar skills to inspire you to go home and practise. After taking some time out in 2012 and 2013 to pursue other interests, he returned with two European tours and a couple of CDs.
In 2017, Dane will be heading abroad once again, this time taking in the sights and sounds of Cuba. Billyroy’s Blues Bar, Bendigo – June 10; Babushka Bar, Ballarat – June 11; and Unwined Cellar, Geelong – June 12.
