The US rockers will take to GMHBA Stadium in Geelong on Friday, March 4 2022.
Following the social media frenzy on Wednesday with rumours that Foo Fighters were in talks to play a special one-off concert in Geelong next month to promote Victoria as a live music destination, the news has officially been confirmed.
The bloody Foo Fighters are performing at GMHBA Stadium (Kardinia Park) in Geelong on Friday, March 4 2022, bringing their brand of no-nonsense rock and roll to the region for one-night-only. They’ll be joined by Amyl and the Sniffers and The Meanies.
Excitingly, this will be the first time a full-capacity stadium show by any international music artist has taken place in Australia since the COVID pandemic first hit back in March 2020.
If it’s anything like their live shows we’ve seen before, you can trust the Foo Fighters won’t hold back in bringing their mammoth set to the stage, reminding us all that it’s the band’s live performance that is the key to their rampant popularity, which spans across several generations of music fans.
