Jen Brister, Joel Creasey, Lloyd Langford and a giant lineup of crowned comedy stars will be heading to Nagambie for a weekend of laughs.
After a successful debut last year, Comedy in the Vines heads back to Mitchelton Wines in Nagambie Victoria loaded with double the acts and double the laughs. From Friday 8 December until Sunday 10 December, the hilarious three-day festival will offer a unique fusion of world-class comedy, food, music, podcasts, camping, and exceptional wine, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Nagambie region.
Presented by Merrick Watts’ production company Grapes of Mirth, the festival features an impressive lineup of international comedy sensations, including Jen Brister (UK), Lloyd Langford (UK), and Melanie Bracewell (NZ), alongside national side-splitters like Joel Creasey, Mel Buttle, Alex Ward, Gillian Cosgriff, Rove McManus, Dave Thornton, and more.

With comedy at the forefront, Comedy in the Vines nabbed acclaimed UK comedy star, Jen Brister. Known for her animalistic energy and razor-sharp wit, Brister is a regular on the UK comedy circuit thanks to standout performances at Live at the Apollo. Brister is joined by fellow UK laugh, Lloyd Landford who has become a favourite on Taskmaster Australia, New Zealands Melanie Bracewell and a host of hilarious Australian comedians and entertainers, Rove McManus, Joel Creasy, Mel Buttle, Dave Thornton, Nick Cody, Alex Ward, Lou Wall, Luke Heggie and Brett Blake with more to be announced.
The program also includes special comedy events including Merrick Watts comedic journey through wine tastings, An Idiot’s Guide to Wine – Nagambie Edition, Ethan Cavanagh and Sweeney Preston are bringing their smash hit show In Pour Taste to the festival, and a Top Gun themed beer drinking show, Brew Dudes, presented by the loosest comedy units Nick Capper and Brett Blake.
Foodies can indulge in a culinary extravaganza led by renowned pit master Adam Roberts and celebrated Irish chef Colin Fassnidge. For those inclined, there is Merrick Watts’ Mini Wine Marathon, a whimsical 5km run through stunning vineyards with wine tastings at each kilometre marker, or, if running isn’t your thing, unwind at the Rosé and Relaxation Day Spa. For the creative types, wander through the incredible Mitchelton Gallery of Aboriginal Art or partake in the Collage Party: Create Your Own Wine Label with That Paper Joint. All before enjoying a closing performance by Australian musical icon Tim Rogers on Sunday. Adding to the on-stage food offerings is Colin Fassnidge. who has been a fan favourite as a judge on My Kitchen Rules for over eight years. At Comedy in the Vines, Colin will be presenting the Chaos Comedy Class, where comedians will be going head-to-head to cook for Colin.
The festival will further boast a captivating lineup of podcasts and special events, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Podcast enthusiasts can enjoy shows like I’m the Worst with Claire Hooper, and In Vino Veritas featuring very special guests, and Luke Heggie and Nick Cody’s smash hit podcast, Mid-Flight Brawl.
It’s a stacked lineup of laughs, lots of food and of course the local vino!
