There have been a whole lot of really nice things said about Claire Anne Taylor’s debut album, Elemental. Hailing from Tasmania, Claire left for Byron Bay to record the album after she won the Bluesfest Busking Competition.
The album features her cousin, Elly Hoyt, singing back-up vocals on one track and her brother, Geb, on another, plus a host of amazing musicians. Claire: “One thing I can promise is that in every one of my songs I give every bit of my honesty and raw emotion. Sharing music with others is the one thing that gives me that feeling of spine-tingling, goose bump goodness and reaffirms to me that this is what I’m here to do.”
