We have a little more on the ChillOut festival for you, the biggest and longest-running Country Queer Pride event in regional Australia. Opening night festivities (Friday, March 11) welcomes Mojo Juju and Kerryn Fields.
Mojo is described as being “a pinch of Bessie Smith, a sniff of Cab Calloway mixed with several shots of Tom Waits and stirred with a little Jack White”, which is about as cool a cocktail as you’re likely to find. An opportunity to gather, connect and reconnect, the Daylesford Town Hall will host this gem.
Other events include Sunday’s ChillOut Carnival, the LGBTIQ family fun day. ChillOut takes place across Labour Day Weekend, with further information through chilloutfestival.com.au.
