After a couple of weeks spent mourning, this weekend the global hard rock community will get to farewell the one, the only Motorhead frontman Ian Fraser “Lemmy” Kilmister.
The ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery in Hollywood, Los Angeles will be live streamed all around the globe, and Cherry Bar in AC/DC Lane invite Melbourne’s lovers of hard rock and all-round resilience to come along and toast the man who gaves us Ace Of Spades and countless other ferocious tunes.
There’ll be $5 Jack and Cokes from 10am and a live Motorhead Tribute performance from Ace of Spades after the memorial. Cherry Bar will host a live stream of Lemmy’s memorial service on Sunday January 10 from 9am. Free entry from 8.30am.
