Charley Crockett is no stranger to the Australian stage. After a series of mind-blowing, sold-out shows in early 2023, he is back to captivate audiences with his neo-traditional country swagger. Crockett’s music oozes Americana and is drenched in timeless tales of the wild west, whiskey, and wandering. With his band, The Blue Drifters, he will take you on a nostalgic journey that’ll have you dreaming of the wild, wild west.
The tour will be a special treat for fans, as Charley Crockett will be promoting his latest live album, “LIVE AT THE RYMAN,” which critics are hailing as one of the best live albums of 2023. Recorded at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, this album perfectly captures the energy and raw talent of this contemporary cowboy.
Joining Crockett and The Blue Drifters on the road is the highly celebrated Indigenous soul queen, Emma Donovan. She’ll be wearing the country crown and performing new music from her first solo album, capturing the heart of nostalgic Australian country gospel.
Alt-country troubadours Sweet Talk will also be in tow, bringing their vintage swagger to select Australian cities, including Newcastle, Brisbane, Sydney, Ballarat, and Korumburra.
Local authorities are still dealing with the aftermath of Charley Crockett’s last visit, with calls to put out fires that were ignited by his electrifying performances. With a summer tour on the horizon, it’s wise to prepare for more of the same.
General public tickets go on sale Friday, 20th October at 9 am local time for all shows except Canberra and Perth. For the Canberra and Perth shows, the general public on-sale will be on Tuesday, 24th October at 9 am local time. Find out more here.
