Castlemaine’s D.D. Dumbo is heading to Ballarat on debut album tour

Castlemaine’s own D.D.Dumbo (aka Oliver Hugh Perry) is heading on tour and Ballarat gets paid a visit.

The tour follows on from the debut LP release, Utopia Defeated, in October last year, which received rave reviews on a national scale. Following rave reviews, he’s also had some pretty incredible accolades to his name; two placings in the Hottest 100 (#44 and #47 for ‘Satan’ and ‘Walrus’ respectively); a nomination for the prestigious Australian Music Prize and a spot on the shortlist for the APRA Song of The Year.

This tour will be his first headline run with a full band, and one that’s been highly awaited by locals and fans alike. He heads to Karova Lounge in Ballarat on Wednesday, June 21.

Tickets go on sale 9am Thursday, March 16 via the website.
