Carla dal Forno plays her debut (and only) Australian show to celebrate the release of her third studio album, Come Around, released on her own Kallista Records imprint.
After nearly a decade of recording and touring out of Berlin and London, Come Around was written and recorded in her new hometown, Castlemaine. It embodies a newfound solitude born of/in elemental pop hooks and enlightened songwriting grappling with ideas of home, disorder and insomnia in the swift pop structures of her DIY/post-punk forebearers such as Young Marble Giants, Virginia Astley and Broadcast.

Support on the night comes from Yuta Matsumura, whose new record, Red Ribbon, on the Low Company label is “ a sequence of introspective, lavishly melodic dream-songs and amphibian atmospheres.”
