Having spent most of 2016 touring overseas, and just landing the #9 spot overnight on the US Billboard Blues chart with his acclaimed album, homegrown hero C.W. Stoneking is coming back for a one-night-only Melbourne show.
The show will cap off an incredible year for the blues troubadour, with phenomenal reviews rolling in for both his live performances and his third album, Gon’ Boogaloo.
Stoneking emerged in 2005 with his debut album, King Hokum, and has followed on to great success in the years since. His latest album was recorded with performers gathering around a single ribbon microphone, capping off the old school vibe by taking influence from vintage calypso, gospel and soul.
Catch him at The Croxton on Thursday October 27.
