It’s back!
Brunswick Music Festival underwent a game-changing transformation in 2019 – and if you thought this year’s program was next level, get a load of the first artists revealed for 2020.
Today, BMF has just revealed the first three headliners of it’s 2020 Festival that will once again bring Brunswick to life, taking over venues across the suburb for two weeks in March. The early announcement gives only a mere glimpse of the breadth of local and international talent making a beeline for Brunswick from Monday 9 – Sunday 22 March.
Leading the fest and kicking off day one, modern icon Kevin Morby returns to Melbourne with full band to perform songs from his lavish, resplendent and career-best new double LP ‘Oh My God’.
A few days later on Thursday March 12, The Blind Boys of Alabama are back with their genre-defining take on Gospel, while Saturday March 14 will see in-demand sessional musician Meg Duffy’s solo project Hand Habits take to the stage.
“Brunswick Music Festival continues to bring the best international and local musicians to the suburb. Proudly produced and presented by Moreland City Council, the exciting annual event draws artists and venues together with residents and visitors for two special weeks of shows and events,” expands Councillor Natalie Abboud, Moreland City Council Mayor
The full program lands in late January, but in the meantime check out the early announcements in all their glory and buy tickets at brunswickmusicfestival.com.au.
