Seems like a dream, huh? Lucky for all you budding musos out there, Box Hill Institute and Sing Sing East are giving local artists, musicians and bands of all genres the opportunity to do that.
In partnership with Sing Sing studios, Box Hill Institute a running a competition, offering two talented recipients the opportunity to win a 2-day recording package in the studio with an engineer, valued at $2,400.
So, think big! It’s a great place to record a choir, a big band, an orchestra or mix a film score. The well-appointed studio offers a 72 channel SSL XL 9000K desk, with a very spacious main recording area and three substantial iso booths.
The two categories for the 2019 competition are:
-The People’s Vote will be based on the highest number of views on the YouTube clip from 9:00am AEST Friday 20 September 2019 to 11:59pm AEST Monday 14 October 2019.
-The Judges’ Award, will be selected by a panel put together by Box Hill Institute’s music team comprising of industry professionals Musician and Producer Joel Ma, AWAL Australia’s Marketing Director Ben Godding and Venue Booker and publicist Sarah Guppy from This Much Talent, who will be looking for originality, creativity, and music ability.
