Bluesfest have added five new artists to their 2016 lineup. Leading the charge will be Brian Wilson to perform his album Pet Sounds in full with an 11-piece band including original Beach Boys member Al Jardine and long-term member Blondie Chaplin. He’ll also be playing some of his greatest hits.
Other additions include Taj Mahal, The Residents, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and Shooglenifty. They join the likes of The National, City and Colour, reggae legends UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, blues rock maestro Joe Bonamassa and Grammy award-winning group Tedeschi Trucks Band. Bluesfest 2016 will take place from Thursday March 24 until Monday March 28, just north of Byron Bay.
