Since 2014, Blackman’s Brewery in Torquay has been helping fuel the excitement around the craft beer industry. In the surf coast town just 500 metres from the beach – Jess and Renn Blackman have been passionately brewing beer, and they’ve created a quality and well-loved space to do so.
Located on Bell Street, Blackman’s Brewery has become synonymous in the region for quality beer and good vibes, providing the ultimate space to taste delicious beers and catch up with your friends and family.

It’s been nine years now since the beer-loving couple opened the doors to this iconic independent brewery, and since then the business and grown in leaps and bounds, expanding to Geelong and Ocean Grove as well as earning a swathe of awards for their ever-increasing range of beers.
Within their own range, Blackman’s makes their beers with the best quality ingredients they can get their hands on. The core range is made up of beers that cover a variety of flavours and styles, however, the team are well known to all as the local brewers who are all about creating new batches with interesting flavours while maintaining the highest quality of craft beer. They’re always releasing new flavours and we absolutely love it.

To celebrate nine years of making and serving good beer, Blackman’s Brewery is throwing a very special beer party on Saturday, 29 July.
Kicking off from noon, the festivities will take over the original beer garden at the Torquay site (26 Bell Street) where they’ll be turning their summer haven into a wintery celebration station.
