From a humble beer to a huge range along with three popping venues, a beer festival, outdoor cinema events and collaborations a plenty, Blackman's Brewery have made strides in ten years.
It has been milestone after milestone for Jess and Renn Blackman. From taking over the Surfriders restaurant in Torquay to having three venues in the region, Blackman’s has become a signature brewery and beloved beer brand in Geelong.
Now the mainstay is celebrating ten years in business with a celebratory event on Saturday 27 July at their first home.

- Where: Blackman’s Brewery Torquay, 26 Bell Street Torquay
- What: Family Fun Day | 12pm – 4pm featuring face painting, toasted marshmallows, live tunes and mini golf. Party Time | 5pm onwards featuring a bonfire under the stars, mulled wine, Angry Reg launch and DJ’s.

The celebration will be open for all-ages as a two part event. From 12pm – 4pm they will be hosting a Family Fun Day so the kids can join and be part of the birthday fun including face painting, toasted marshmallows, live tunes and mini golf. Things will heat up from 5pm onwards with a glorious bonfire under the stars, mulled wine to warm your insides, the launch of Angry Reg Double IPA and DJ’s on decks.
In addition, they will be celebrating through a giveaways including your chance to win 2 tickets to Point Break Brewery Invitational, 4x Angry Reg cans, 4x Hang 10 IPA cans, a Blackman’s Beanie & a Blackman’s T-shirt. All you have to do is pick up a 4 pack or case of their Old School Merv; The Mervyn Pale Ale. Competition ends 27 July at 9pm.

In addition to the launch of Angry Reg Double IPA, they will be doing a special 10th Birthday Hang 10 IPA batch. 10 hop additions for 10 years of Blackman’s Brewery to bring out the flavours. They will be using their favourite hops and adding them at 10 different times throughout the brewing process to give you a wizz-bang of passionfruit and lime!
