Nestled in Belmont, Bistrot Plume, an elegant French-Australian eatery, has been inviting diners to experience the epitome of sophistication for the last seven years. With original owners Kate and Nathan handing over the reigns to the team at Local earlier this year, Plume has continued to cement itself as one of the region’s favourite little restaurants in town.

Chef Jackson Fort, with a culinary journey spanning renowned establishments like Tulip, Igni, and Cutler & Co, is now at the helm of the kitchen, crafting a menu predominantly French, highlighting the best from producers such as Kinsfolk Farm and Gamekeepers.

From steak tartare and roasted duck a l’orange to cured king fish and crispy blue cheese croquettes, every dish is a culinary masterpiece. The atmosphere, adorned with black and teal accents, marble bars, and Renaissance-style food portraits, creates the perfect ambiance for a delightful dining experience.

Coffee lovers and gastronomy enthusiasts alike are in for a treat at Bistrot Plume. Indulge in the world of French elegance and savour the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee at the Free Coffee Day – an event that promises to elevate your morning coffee ritual to a whole new level.

Bistro Plume is open everyday from 7am, lunch Friday to Sunday and dinner Thursday to Saturday.
