In 1868, Bethany Community Support opened its doors as a Geelong female refuge. Today, they are a diverse human services organisation servicing the Geelong and Barwon South West Regions.
Being an independent voluntary organisation, they rely on events such as the Bethany Arthouse Film Festival to enable their fantastic on¬ going work. In 2016 BAFF celebrates its 19th year with another selection of films chosen to reflect diverse human stories of relationships, family, challenges, optimism and love.
The first film to screen is the 2013 Indian epistolary film ‘The Lunchbox’ at The Playhouse, GPAC on Tuesday, April 19. The festival will also celebrate its third outing in Warrnambool.
