Set against the picturesque backdrop of Provenance Wines in Fyansford, this event will take place on Sunday, October 22 for an afternoon of compassion, camaraderie, and a resolute commitment to a vital cause.

Be Hers Charity, a dedicated non-profit organisation fighting against human trafficking, slavery, and exploitation on a global scale, has been at the forefront of this relentless battle. The stark reality is that slavery remains the world’s fastest-growing criminal industry. Reports of trafficking victims range from 800,000 to 2.5 million people each year, with a staggering 50 million people currently enslaved worldwide, with a concerning 71% of them being women.
Even closer to home, an estimated 40,000 people are ensnared in modern slavery right here in Australia. It’s a chilling fact that Australia, along with other major economies, accounts for more than half of the world’s modern slavery cases.
Megan Jolly, a staunch advocate, and local hero, has taken it upon herself to lead the charge in raising both awareness and funds to support this critical mission with the ‘Lovely Lunch’, right here in Geelong.
Bringing together like-minded people, the highlight of the event is a sumptuous three-course plated dining experience within the perfect setting of Provenance Wines, an esteemed local establishment known for its elegance.
Adding a melodious touch to the atmosphere, The Violas will grace the occasion with their live music, setting the perfect tone for an unforgettable day. But it’s not just about food and music; the event will also feature inspirational guest speakers who will shed light on the pressing issues surrounding human trafficking, slavery, and exploitation.
