The once a month event where Bandcamp waives their revenue share to all artists you choose to support is this Friday 4th February
Since March of 2020, Bandcamp has waived their revenue share to help support the many artists who have seen their livelihoods disrupted by the pandemic. Over the course of 17 days, fans paid artists and labels more than $70 million dollars, helping cover rents, mortgages, groceries, medications, and much more.

Now their artist support initiative Bandcamp Fridays are back for 2022, where Bandcamp will waive their revenue share on purchases from the online music store on the first Friday of every month until at least May.

Bandcamp already does so much more for artists than mainstream streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music. For example, When a fan buys something on Bandcamp, an average of 82% of the money goes to the artist or their label — typically in 24-48 hours. There’s also often Bandcamp exclusives available such as actual CDs of your favourite albums!
