Summer is perhaps the greatest time for music. The season brings a wealth of festivals to the region as well as an onslaught of free music gigs. The Ballarat Backyard Tasters is one of the latter, and is back this month for a series of free gigs on Friday nights.
The event sees Alfred Deakin Place come alive with a selection of Ballarat’s best local and live music, food and fun. Past nights this year has seen the likes of the Ballarat Ska Union, deborahNtrio, Motor City Sounds and Dream Tree share their music.
So time to pack your chairs, your picnic rugs and bunker down for a Friday night of great free, live and local entertainment. It doesn’t get much better than that.
