Ball Park Music and San Cisco are heading to Ballarat

In exciting news for a Tuesday arvo, news has just dropped that Ball Park Music, San Cisco and a support slot by Ruby Fields are coming to Ballarat as part of their upcoming Australian tour.
Presented by triple j, this is one helluva show to come to good ol’ Ballarat.
With no less than three J-award album nominations, six top 60 spots in triple j’s Hottest 100, an Australian tour with Weezer, four critically acclaimed albums and a long list of sold-out headline shows and international festival slots to their name, red hot indie-poppers Ball Park Music have truly earned their place as one of the most respected acts in the country.
If you’ve been lucky enough to see them live you know just how incredible it is to be in the crowd at a Ball Park Music show – ‘She Only Loves Me When I’m There’, ‘It’s Nice to Be Alive’, ‘Coming Down’, ‘Everything Is Shit Except My Friendship With You’ and the odd Queen cover thrown in for fun. Amazing songs. Ridiculously good live.
You’ve been pumping out their 2016 album ‘Every Night the Same Dream’ at every BBQ and road-trip for the last year, now you can party on with their album Good Mood, released earlier this year.
Then there’s San Cisco! Recently celebrating their lead single ‘Hey, Did I Do You Wrong?’ coming in at No.79 on triple J’s Hottest 100 and following the Australian leg of the World Surf League Championship Tour around country with the brand spanking new festival The Drop, they’ve also been busy with a lineup change that saw longtime friend and bassist, Nick Gardner hanging up his touring boots (and bass). Taking the reins is another longtime friend and amazing musician hailing from Fremantle, Jennifer Aslett.
These Fremantle based critters have put together a bona-fide body of work, starting with their debut album, following through with top 10 hit ‘Gracetown’ and then consolidating this year with their fabulous third ‘The Water’. San Cisco have gone from indie darlings to pop-powerhouse right before our very eyes.

It goes down at Ballarat’s City Oval on Saturday October 20.
Presale tickets can be purchased on Friday June 29 (from 9am) and general tickets go on sale Monday July 2 (from 9am) via ballparkmusic.com & sancisco.com
