Held biennially, Avalon Australian International Airshow 2025 will be the sixteenth airshow and exposition staged at Geelong’s Avalon Airport. Heading back to the local airport from 25 – 30 March, Avalon Australian International Airshow is the largest airshow in the Southern Hemisphere.
The three-day aviation event showcases spectacular military and civil aerial displays, the aerospace industry, aviation careers and family entertainment.

Taking on customer experience feedback, they are bringing back an adrenaline favourite for fans with public viewing on the flightline allowed again. In addition Avalon 2025 will also make getting to and from the highlight calendar event easy. They have introduced park & ride to make travel between the show easy. With two easy locations, customers are able to park in carparks in either Geelong or Melbourne and jump on a bus to be taken directly into the show grounds. Eager show goers can also grab parking tickets with the purchase of their general admission ticket.
Adding to the on-site action, Avalon 2025 will expand their exhibition offering, growing from three halls to four showcasing aviation, aerospace and defence industry, technology and capabilities from around the globe.
Finally the entertainment value on offer for Avalon 2025 has had an upgrade. With facility improvements across the site, the event is able to host additional exciting entertainment and aircrafts with announcements to come. That’s in addition to the old favourite free carnival rides for children and young and old!
