Australia’s largest techno event PURE returns with world-class lineup, international artists

After two years, Australia’s favourite pure techno experience is back.

Australia’s favourite rave party PURE has relaunched for 2022, returning to venues across the country with an unmatched line-up of incredible talent.

The iconic techno festival, fronted by the legendary Carl Cox, has quickly established itself as a ‘must attend’ event for dance music fans, thanks to its reputation as an event where the audience can make a special connection with the DJs.

Keep up with the latest music news, festivals, interviews and reviews here.

In April of 2016, Carl Cox launched the first instalment of his PURE event in Australia. Taking place in Melbourne and Sydney, the event showcased players from the global Techno and House movements.

Returning for 2022, PURE will take things up a notch with their world-class lineup, hitting up Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with Adelaide getting in on the action of Australia’s largest techno event year and Perth TBC!

Presented and curated by Carl Cox, Eric Powell of Bush Records and Richie McNeill of Hardware, PURE will feature Carl Cox of course, Dutch acid techno maestro Reinier Zonneveld performing his enigmatic live show, Drumcode’s legendary Bart Skils (also hailing from the “Dam”) and Aussie techno legend Eric Powell. More will be announced in the coming weeks.

“PURE is full steam ahead and we will dance, rave and reach for the lasers as we exit this whirlwind of the past two years once and for all,” says the Hardware Team.

“Our production this year will continue to raise the bar as we deliver a coordinated onslaught of your senses. PURE techno… let’s go!”

Taking place over two stages with epic new visual designs, the event is known to be one of Australia’s best techno focused events.
