Let’s be real: breaking into the music industry is tough—especially when you're an up-and-coming producer trying to cut through the noise.
But if you’ve got the tunes and just need a little industry backing to take things to the next level, this one’s for you.
Launching today, The Blueprint Project is the latest artist development initiative from the crew at Blue Music Services, and it’s aimed squarely at giving fresh Aussie dance and electronic talent the leg-up they deserve. Submissions are officially open, and you’ve got until 5pm AEST on Friday, May 30 to throw your hat (or USB stick) in the ring.

So what’s the deal? Well, unlike a lot of “emerging artist” programs that promise a shoutout and a playlist spot, The Blueprint Project is going deep—like, full career development deep. We’re talking PR, marketing, mentorship, live performance opportunities, and personalised feedback from some of the scene’s heaviest hitters.
Here’s what the winning artist gets:
- A full-blown PR and marketing campaign designed to actually get your name out there in the electronic scene.
- Two pairs of epic Sennheiser headphones (the ultra-clear HD 490 PROs for your studio sessions, and the legendary HD 25s for when you’re behind the decks).
- One-on-one chats with industry pros like Gabe Bravo from Cloak Entertainment (for artist management advice) and Sarah Hamilton from Golden Hour (on how to actually release music that lands).
- Custom artwork designed by Josh Hart-Vrijkotte to give your visual identity the glow-up it deserves.
- Direct A&R feedback from none other than Luude and Anna Lunoe (yes, that Luude and that Anna Lunoe).
- And to top it off, a support slot at a legit Untitled Group event—because nothing beats real stage time in front of a crowd that’s ready to dance.
With Aussies streaming more dance music per capita than anywhere else in the world (flex), it’s clear the scene is buzzing. But for newer artists, it’s still all too easy to get lost in the shuffle. That’s why The Blueprint Project is flipping the focus—away from just the big names, and onto the next wave.
If you’re a rising producer, DJ, or electronic artist with a vision and the music to back it up, this could be the push you’ve been waiting for.
Submissions are now open—go on, shoot your shot.
