Artist applications for BIGSOUND 2023 are now open

The southern hemisphere's biggest music industry event is back!

Now in its 22nd year, BIGSOUND has grown to become the largest dedicated music showcase and conference event of its type in Australia. Across three game-changing days and three fun-filled nights, showcasing acts can connect with, listen to and play in front of some of the most influential players in music.

This BIGSOUND will welcome tastemakers from across the globe including media, A&R, agents, promoters, music supervisors, buyers and so much more.

With alumni including Gang of Youths, Flume, Tash Sultana, Sampa the Great, Courtney Barnett, Cub Sport, Violent Soho, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Baker Boy, Spacey Jane, The Jungle Giants, Thelma Plum, Tones and I and many more, BIGSOUND has become a rite of passage for Australian musicians breaking out onto the world stage.

And with that in mind, artist applications for BIGSOUND 2023 are now open.

At BIGSOUND, Australian artists have the rare chance to perform in front of some of the most influential figures in music by showcasing here, the southern hemisphere’s largest dedicated music showcase and conference.

In addition to having access to hundreds of influential music industry figures, BIGSOUND Showcase Artists are provided with the opportunity for excellent media exposure, with the event being covered by national and international media outlets and reaching an international audience of 24.6 million people.

Artist Showcases take place from Tuesday 5 – Thursday 7 September.

Artist Applications are now open here, and close on Tuesday April 18.
