Ah the Tim Tam. The most irresistible chocolate biscuit of them all.
Since landing on the shelves in the 1960s, Aussie have fallen in love with the mouth-watering combination of crunchy biscuit, creamy filling and real chocolate coating that makes up a Tim Tam.
It’s that deep, raw, unbridled passion we have for our Tim Tam’s that has inspired the biscuit connoisseurs at Arnott’s to put the faith in the public and assist them in choosing the flavour they should create for their next Tim Tam.
They’re thinking of bringing out either Double Choc Caramel Cream or Coconut Cream – but the choice is completely up to the public.
The first is described as two crunchy choc biscuits sandwiched together with a toffee style caramel flavoured cream, covered with a thick coat of milk chocolate, while the other is two crunchy choc biscuits sandwiched together with a sweet, creamy coconut flavoured cream, covered in milk chocolate.
Just quietly, both sound pretty awesome to us.
All you have to do is cast your vote by tomorrow and they’ll announce the winning flavour on Wednesday which will then be stocked exclusively at Coles supermarkets from August 31. Currently Double Choc Caramel Cream is in the lead, so if you’re especially partial to a coconut bikkie we recommend you enlist the help of your buds.
