The fast-food restaurant known from their flame-grilled burgers has permanently closed their Armstrong Creek location.
When American fast-food chain Carl’s Jr went into administration back in July, it was a telling sign of things to come for stores across the state. However, the Armstrong Creek site located on Torquay Road kept slinging burgers for months following the announcement.
That is up until last night when the restaurant sat darkened with a sign on the door stating they “are closed due to circumstances beyond our control”. The stores designated Facebook page, which had only been advertising their breakfast menu the day prior, now lists their opening hours as ‘Permanently Closed’, and their Uber Eats listing no longer appears.
