Black Bull Tapas Bar and Restaurant
Did somebody say free churros? During Tastes, Black Bull offers complimentary churros when you order two tapas and two mains from their deliciously Spanish-themed menu. Dates are limited to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 pm to 8 pm during Tastes. Bookings are preferred but not essential, so make sure you don’t miss out on the free sugary goodness this deal offers and book yourself in for a truly cultural dinner option. Who doesn’t love a parmi? The dish is a staple of Australian menus, and no matter how you say it, The Inn Hotel is here to provide one that will quench any craving. With the bonus of a range of new parmi choices, customers are provided with the perfect chance to enjoy a delicious parmi with a nice hearty beer, cider or house wine while hanging out with some of your closest mates. Operating only on Thursdays during Tastes from 5 pm to 8:30 pm, you can enjoy a delicious parmi and drink that will only set you back $17. Bay View Bar & Grill
We are calling all seafood lovers. Oh boy, do we have something for you. On Mondays and Tuesdays from 5 pm to 9 pm, Bay View Bar & Grill celebrates the Tastes event with ‘All You Can Eat Mussels. From $28 per person, have your pick from the beautifully cooked mussels served on Central Geelong’s spectacular waterfront. You can choose from wine and parsley or Napoli sauce-flavoured mussels while indulging in one of the bar’s lovely wines. From $60, your family will enjoy a night of drinks, food and fun with four delectable main meals chosen from a uniquely selected menu.
Or, why not grab a drink? On Friday, the 24th of June, OZ Flame runs a night-only special where patrons can grab cocktails for only $12 or splurge on a fishbowl for $25.
Located at 52 Moorabool Street, booking for the family dinners is preferred and can be made online through ozflame.com.au, while bookings for the cocktails and fishbowls are not required.
Poke Geelong
Poke Geelong is here to provide you with a huge range of tasty and healthy options to fill you up throughout Tastes. They’re all about providing fresh and affordable poke bowls that use locally sourced and quality ingredients. Enjoy an Ichiban salmon bowl and drink or choose from their range of options from $18.90. Most of their extensive menu tailors to dietary requirements like gluten-free so everyone can have a tasty meal without worrying about the health effects. Opening times for their 91 Little Malop Street location are 11:30 am to 7:30 pm Mondays to Fridays and 11:30 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, with bookings not required.
