Tickets for Ararat’s Jailhouse Rock Festival (March 1720) are on sale now. Jailhouse was created in 1995 as a way to celebrate the greatness of the ’50s and ’60s.
While officially launched on March 17, a highlight of the festival takes place on Saturday, March 19, with bands The Fender Benders, The Atomic HiTones, The Sky Rockats and the Smoking Wingtips set to perform.
There will also be market stalls throughout Barkly Street, an outdoor cinema viewing and a motorcycle display. Sunday, March 20, features a stack more music, heaps for the kids, a BBQ and a truckload more.
