Andrea Robertson: Remind Myself

Remind Myself is the sophomore album of Bellarine musician Andrea Robertson. The album launched in front of two sold out crowds, in Geelong and Ocean Grove and is very much a home town album.

With a mix of folk and blues influences Remind Myself is an album of twists and turns, from the upbeat songs that inspire toe tapping to the more ballad like songs heavy with emotions. This album combines old and new seamlessly, with influences and instruments that are less common in the modern music scene appearing in Robertson’s songs, and fitting in with an unquestionable ease, creating a new modern and unique sound that belongs to Robertson.

With a host of awards already under her belt, and as a recipient of this year’s Queenscliff Musical Festival Emerging Artist Grant Robertson is well on her well to establishing herself as an accomplished artist and Remind Myself is an album that does anything but fall into a sophomore slump.

This is an album by someone who knows who she is and wishes to share her story and sound with others, creating an endearing experience that is entirely her own.
