Meet The Pelican Bar.
UPDATE: More shows announced for The Pelican Bar summer line up, November 20
Ahead of The Pelican Bar summer concert series which begins next Friday 27th Nov in a nod to the Festivals pre-covid weekend dates, the organisers have announced a slew of high calibre acts to join the already stellar line up of Victorian music and comedy acts currently on sale.
Early December will see Tim Rogers, Davey Lane and Hollie Joyce take to the stage (December 11), while December 20 will see Forte favourites Benny Walker and Bec Goring serenade the audiences for the ultimate Sunday session.
Giving punters something to look forward to for New Year’s Eve, DJ Vince Peach and Jesse Valach & The Testaments have been confirmed to perform, while Joe Creighton’s acclaimed tribute to Van Morrison Into The Mystic will ease everyone into the new year on Sunday, January 3.
A week later, two powerhouse women will take to The Pelican Bar, with Ali Barter and Hayley Mary (of The Jezabels) team up for one helluva Saturday night.
The Potterheads amongst us will be keen to see the return of Workers Geelong’s famed Harry Potter themed trivia on January 3. Three rounds of movie based questions, so that even the most novice of 1st years stand a chance. There will also be team-based mini-games to help give your team a sneaky advantage over your competition.
