The completely free Sydney festival will kick off 2023 with a seriously stacked lineup.
If you’re looking for a reason to get out of the state in the New Year for a well-deserved getaway, the ELEVATE festival is returning to the Cahill Expressway (above Circular Quay) 3-7 January 2023 – and in great news for live music lovers… it’s completely FREE!
A celebration of summer, live music, and entertainment – the Cahill Expressway will come alive with an action-packed program from morning to night – all with Sydney’s iconic harbour as the backdrop. The stacked line-up will feature more than 20 artists over five nights and four days including Australian singer-songwriter Amy Shark, musician and rapper Mallrat, electronic dance sister duo Kinder and The Veronicas.

The festival will feature three daily sessions; a kids’ street party with family favourites in the mornings, live DJ and electronic music sets in the afternoons, followed by high-energy main stage performances by Australia’s hottest artists as night falls.
Highlights of the ELEVATE Sydney 2023 line-up include:
∙ ELEVATE Family: A children’s street party with family favourites Bluey & Bingo, ERTH, Monski Mouse and The Gagliardies on the mainstage and even more performers, fun and games all along the festival site
∙ ELEVATE Social: Australia’s best electronic music served up alongside the world’s best harbour views, featuring Kinder, Kito and Running Touch (DJ)
∙ ELEVATE Nights: As the sun sets into night, the latest acts in Australian music will take to the mainstage. Artists include Amy Shark, Becca Hatch, Betty Who Client Liaison (DJ), Drax Project, Mallrat, Thelma Plum and The Veronicas.
Tickets are free – sessions sold out last year so registering for tickets is essential.
