All roads lead to MURPHYS this St Patrick's Day

We’re all for drinking with mates and celebrating a good time and this year the stars have aligned and St Patrick’s Day has fallen on a Saturday this year!
The day of celebration since the 17th century, every year on March 17th, the Irish, or Irish lovers join in on festivities that colour the day green.
If you’re on the hunt for one of the biggest St. Paddy’s events across our region this year, you can’t go past Murphys in Geelong.
As a pub known to have a long history with the Irish, being Geelong’s only Irish pub, the newly renovated pub are bringing back their St Patrick’s Day Festival.
Situated on the corner of Aberdeen Street, Murphys have been blessed with Irish luck that aside from their beautiful views, they have a massive carpark and side street to play with – ensuring that this is going to be such a big party, you’ll be glad you’ve got Sunday to recover.
On a Saturday this time around, it will be bigger again with food trucks (Caliko BBQ and Those Guys Food), bands, DJs and entertainment, family area with free face painting, DJ’s and of course – the GIANT Inflatable Pub as the outdoor bar.
There will also be a Canadian Club & Bulmers Marquee along with Irish food, music and dancers.

We’ve given a run down of the massive day, clearly showing that Murphys will be giving patrons a hell of good craic, with so much to offer it’ll spill out on the streets… literally!
With over 2,500 people through the gates last year, you don’t want to be anywhere else this Saturday 17th March. Free entry before 6pm.
Check out the event on Facebook here.
