The artists performing at the 2020 AFL Grand Final have been revealed.

With just two weeks until the 2020 AFL Grand Final takes place at The Gabba in Brisbane, the AFL has revealed the lineup of artists set to perform at the match.

The all-Australian affair will see the likes of DMA’s, Cub Sport, Wolfmother’s Andrew Stockdale, Sheppard and Electric Fields ft. Thelma Plum and Busby Marou, perform as the event takes place at night for the first time in the game’s history.

The revered Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) also join the lineup, which stands as the first time an orchestra has performed at the event while seminal Australian songwriter Mike Brady is also on the bill. He’ll perform his iconic AFL anthem ‘Up There Cazaly’ in a special performance alongside the QSO.

Brisbane group Tribal Experiences, from Yuggera-Toorabul Country, have also been announced and will perform a special Welcome to Country before the game.

AFL GM of Commercial Kylie Rogers said Brisbane’s hosting of the AFL Grand Final has provided a fantastic opportunity for Queensland’s music and arts community.

“On the back of an all-Australian lineup at last year’s Grand Final, we know there is incredible support to bring together local talent again this year,” she said.

“We have some of the best of Australia’s musical talent performing, with a unique sound and collection of voices – from the Torres Strait down to the south coast – we’re proud to be delivering another all-Australian billing for the 2020 Toyota AFL Grand Final.”

The 2020 AFL Grand Final takes place on Saturday October 24 at The Gabba, Brisbane. More info here.
